Welcome to Go RV Winnipeg, formerly known as GNR Camping World! We are proud to continue the legacy of exceptional camping experiences that began in the late 50s with Gil Robert. Gil’s travel trailer was overturned during a windstorm, and when he sought repairs in Winnipeg, his insurance company informed him that no one would take on the job. This incident highlighted the urgent need for an RV Service Centre!

In April 1970, Gil Robert, along with his cousin Noel Painchaud and his brother Rheal Robert, established GNR Sportsland Centre Ltd. as an RV service centre located in old St. Boniface. Over the years, the business experienced remarkable growth and recognized the need for expansion. In the fall of 1973, they acquired three acres of land and constructed a 4,000 square foot building at 1370 Dugald Road.

To reflect the comprehensive offerings and services provided, the business was rebranded as GNR Camping World in the mid-70s. Continuing to thrive, GNR Camping World established itself as a leading destination for camping enthusiasts during the mid-1970s.

Today, as Go RV Winnipeg, we are thrilled to be part of the Go Auto family. With over 40 years of operation, we prioritize customer satisfaction and strive to offer the highest level of service in the industry. Our facility is designed to provide a complete family shopping experience, featuring an incredible Kids Zone play center that ensures fun for the entire family. Operating out of a 21,500 square foot building on 11 acres of land, we proudly stand as Winnipeg's largest RV service center.
