What Type of Trailer you Should Get

GNR Camping World offers a variety of RVs and trailers that suit a wide range of lifestyles and family units. No matter what kind of camping experience you like, we’ve got a camper that will fit your needs.

If you’d prefer a motorized RV, consider one of the following types of trailers that we offer:

Class A Motorhome

The pinnacle of luxury living (on the road), a class A motorhome provides a wealth of space with room for up to 8 people. This is a great ‘home away from home’ option for families looking for a comfortable option when taking an extended trip, or couples looking to get away for more than a weekend.

Class B Motorhome

Also referred to as a “camper van”, the class B motorhome offers less interior space, but more maneuverability and a lower price tag. Comfortably fitting 2 people, these vans can often accommodate up to 4 – but it might be a bit tight. These are perfect for weekend getaways and spontaneous adventures.

Class C Motorhome

A combination of the A and B-class motorhome designs, a class C is mid-sized and built into a van/truck, making it easier to drive and taking up less road space. It offers many of the same amenities as a Class A (kitchen, additional sleeping spaces), and is the most budget-friendly of the three classes.

Travel Trailer

While they do need to be towed, some trailers only require an SUV. These trailers come in all shapes and sizes, featuring a large range of amenities and floor plans. With a lower price tag and options to suit many needs, travel trailers are great if you have a towing vehicle and are comfortable driving with it.

Fifth Wheel

Similar to the travel trailer, a fifth wheel needs to be towed. However, the advantage of a fifth wheel is that it uses a gooseneck hitch which adds stability and makes it easier and safer to tow. With a more spacious design and luxurious interiors, fifth wheels offer ample storage and sleeping accommodations up to eight people.

Folding Camper

The folding camper lives up to its name – it folds closed, is very compact, and is easier to tow because of its small size. This also translates to it fitting in camping areas that larger RVs may not. Also known as a “pop-up” camper, they often come with a large sleeping area and small kitchen space with a dining area.

Toy Haulers

Otherwise known as a sport-utility trailer, toy haulers are very spacious and have a dedicated garage area for storing your toys (i.e. kayaks, dirt bikes, ATVs). With ample space, a full kitchen, and a plethora of sleeping arrangements, toy haulers are a great option for people who want the extra space, and particularly if you have a large, motorized vehicle to bring along.
